Amino Acids
Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins. They are classified into two groups: Essential cannot be synthesized rapidly enough to meet the organism’s nutritional requirements and non-essential – synthesized in the body.
Amino acids have various functions:
- Their use in the diet reduces nitrogen loss which leads to the reduction of ammonia excretion.
- Improved feed conversion efficiency.
- Additional amino acid supplementation supports the production of butyric acid and other short chain fatty acids.
- Supporting growth, development, and immunity
